Hello, my name is Robert Hartung and this is the web site where it all started on November 27, 1997 Hartung Press was born. It first started with a Unix shell account and a 300 baud modem, and I edited the files with a Unix text editor. Now, I have a number of programs to edit my sites, and I Host the sites myself on leased Linux servers here in Florida.

I since changed the name from Hartung Press to simply Robert Hartung and changed formats from a personal site to a Travel and online shopping guide. It's all free, and I make no money from the sites. I am a web site designer and web application programmer, and this is where I make my living.
